Susanne Rueben

 


 

Since her marriage in 1972 she started to focus on training young horses through the levels all the way up to Grand Prix. With self-trained horses she received the Golden Rider´s Badge, was competing at Grand Prix level and winning various prizes at famous CDI´s. Her greatest successes were a 4th place in the German Masters at the CDI Stuttgart in 1991 riding Montreux and the victory in the Grand Prix freestyle of the CDI Tour at the CHIO Aachen in 1997 with Lanciano.

She was a member of the German “B-Kader” as well.

Many of the horses Susanne Rueben has trained and competed in Grand Prix participated at the Olympics and at the World Equestrian Games with their new owners, for example:


  • Diamond Boy, since 2013 owned by Larasati Gading, the couple competed already successful at Grand Prix Level
  • Richelle, 5th of the Swedish Championchip in 2010 ridden by Ulla Hakonson
  • Wellington, member of the US Dressage Team for the PanAmerican Games 2006
  • Robinson, 2002 World Championchips in Jerez de la Frontera ridden by Dr. Cesar Parra, Col
  • Lanciano 2000, Olympics Sydney ridden by Dr. Jorge Ferreira da Rocha, BRA
  • Alassio, 4-times double winner of the Young Riders European Championchips (Team and Individual)
  • Montreux, 1992 Olympics Barcelona, Team Silver for Annemarie Sanders-Keijzer, NED
